The brave terrier successfully got rid of the cobra, saving Louise from a potential bite and a lot of drama. His owner shared:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI was so close to the snake, I think if Spike didn\u2019t jump up and grab it by its neck, it could have bitten me as well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, here\u2019s the catch \u2013 Spike may have won the battle, but the snake managed to land a few sneaky strikes. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sadly, Spike, along with Louise\u2019s other dog named Prinses was also bitten during the scuffle<\/strong> and tragically succumbed to the cobra\u2019s venom within a few hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Spike\u2019s story may have had a sad ending, but even though he\u2019s no longer with us, his acts of heroism will forever be remembered<\/strong> by his loved ones and anyone who hears his story. <\/p>\n\n\n\n So, the next time you meet a dog, be sure to show your appreciation by giving them a gentle pat (after getting permission from their owner, of course) and a heartfelt \u201cthank you\u201d for all that they do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Even if it involves standing up to a dangerous snake in the backyard!
